 An hour and a half’s drive from Cape Town CBD, along one of the most spectacular cornices in the world,  Clarence drive, will bring you to Betty’s Bay.

The village lies like a string of pearls between the perfect white beaches and crashing surf, and the lofty peaks of the Kogelberg mountains.

 Here we celebrate the rich biodiversity of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve,

 which was created to preserve the varied ecosystems of the Cape Floristic Kingdom’s plant and animal species that co-inhabit this magnificent part of South Africa.

 There are leopards in the mountains, penguins on Stony Point, whales and dolphins in the sea, and a wealth of unique plants which showcase the diversity of nature of the area.
